Made reservations and we were seated right away. We ordered two drinks. The first was rum, old-fashioned, which was made very well and it was a good drink. The second was a blackberry bourbon smash and it was not my favorite. We ordered tapas: crab dip, which was good, and the Beef Empanada NC Wagyu, which tasted like sloppy Joe’s, and I wouldn’t order it again. Next, Parisienne gnocchi, which was good, not exceptional. We also had the Spanish Serano ham, and that was tasty. Our dessert was a basic crème brûlée, and it was good, made well. And then the latte which is very good. Our servers initials were PDR. Couldn’t hear his name. He way very nice and attentive in the very beginning, but he was very soft-spoken, and it was hard to hear what he was saying through all the clamor of the restaurant. Closer to the end of the evening, even though he was serving water next to us, we still had to ask for refill. But other than that our food came out warm, quickly and good. The prices of the food were reasonable, but the drinks were definitely overpriced. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, chic and upscale. I do like this restaurant and we will be back.
