We hoped to enjoy a delicious lunch in a beautiful restaurant and were bitterly disappointed. The menu looks fantastic with very interesting dishes and since it says "vegan dishes" in the TripAdvisor description, we were sure that the chef would be able to whip something up when we didn't find any straight out vegan option at our first look. So we asked the waitress if she had a suggestion. She suggested to just keep off the cheese of the salad. We explained that a salad would not provide a satisfying meal to my husband and suggested that the chef simply put some of the amazing looking plant-based ingredients from some of the dishes together for a "customized" vegan me, but she informed us that this was not possible and he could only have the salad without cheese. End of our sad story. :/No, I have an additional recommendation if you still want to eat at Bohemia: make sure to get a table in the court! The air-conditioning inside smells a lot like mold.
OMG! This is definitely a must stop. We stopped here for lunch and it was fabulous! Our best meal in Cartagena! David was our server and he was SUPER! Very knowledgeable and described each item! We had the soft-shell crab, Super sandwich, ravioli and duck confit, risotto. Deserts were over the top as well. David got us a tour of the wine cellar. We came back later that evening for cocktails! SUPERB!!!! Thanks David!!!
This was by far the best meal I had in Columbia and probably in the past year. We ended up being able to eat in 2 different locations. Started out in the garden but were moved to the wine cellar when it started to rain. The food was unique, extraordinarily delicious, and the desserts were even better.I would visit Cartagena again just to eat here.
Atmosphere is definitely a 10- it's a historic house, beautifully renovated, lots of exotic plants and a sensational atmosphere. Lovely service. The dishes were too fussy for us- in the heat we would have preferred less fanfare and fancy, complicated food combinations and a more clean, simple menu.
