Very disappointed. I used to LOVE coming to this location. Today for the first time in a couple months I went to bolay. I was craving it so bad. I always admired the quality of the food they put out. Clearly they changed the quality of the food. I’m 100% sure they are changed their supplier/type of meat and definitely changed the chef. They decreased their quality and increased the prices. Not coming back. Look at the picture of the steak? That looks awful. Black rice not the same and Asian noodles is like plastic.
Really doing this review because of the customer service and a specific employee that stood out to me, she was at the cash register checking out and attended to me for a pick up order in such an effortless fashion while the place had 15+ people in line. You can tell she is rocking it. Wasn’t able to get her name, but I wish I could’ve. Only thing I remembered was the hat and possibly curly hair in a bun. Thank you for being you ! Super sweet as well
I have always loved Bolay but the location on 441 gives the smallest portions I have ever experienced in all the years of enjoying their food. Also, they sometimes offer just one veggie choice for the regular bowl. Depends on the day. I’ve never experienced this at any other location. Thinking I will avoid this location going forward :
Prices are high for what it is, I’ve also noticed that the portions are getting smaller, and now there’s a tip option forced on you, and it’s difficult to avoid that. Plus, they keep changing the menu items and the sauces over and over again. I used to be a big fan, but these things are not a good sign.
