Boronia House - Tisch reservieren

Disappointing. I would not recommend Boronia Tea House. There is much better quality high tea being served at other venues in Sydney. I took my family there recently and it was an underwhelming experience. This is my feedback:  Cons:  - Food: The sandwiches appeared to have been sitting out for a while because they were not soft and fresh as one would expect. They were stale and dry. The scones were very average to say the least. Couch foam came to mind when I was eating it. The rest of the cakes were average.  - Cleanliness: My teacup had lipstick on the rim and I had to ask for a replacement. The women's toilet was very surprising... It was a shabby and out of the three stalls only one worked. One was out of order and the second had a faulty door which was falling off the hinge.  Pros: - Our waiter was very friendly  - The tea itself was nice For $47p/p I expect more than what they delivered. Overall the venue needs a spruce up visually and food wise. However, with more attention to detail and a bit more TLC I think that the Boronia Tea House has the potential to be a great experience in the future.

Beautiful heritage house on the super busy Military Road. What a nice oasis in the middle of chaos. However, the house is about the best thing of the afternoon (company excepted). Despite the nice surround, the food itself was a bit of a let down. The bread of the sandwich fingers were dried on one side, like they've been left out for a while. The filling wasn't particularly exciting, I didn't like the pickle one at all. The rest of the savouries were average. The sweets were a little better, I can't tell you what they are, as the waiter that served us didn't seem to know either. By far the best part of the high tea were the mini scorns, served warm, light, it was just the right size for the best ratio of cream & jam. We got a groupon deal for the High Tea, but I won't be back even if the deal was available again.

Ging für funkelnden hohen Tee. Die Lage ist reizend, der Service ist jedoch schrecklich und das Essen macht es nicht ganz klar. Es dauerte lange Zeit, um serviert zu werden, wartete weitere 10 Minuten, um Milch und Zucker mit unserem Tee zu bekommen, während das ganze Waitstaff vermieden würde, mein Auge zu fangen. Kummer Das Essen ist wunderschön präsentiert, aber es fehlt jedoch an Geschmack und Finesse. Sandwiches waren ziemlich einfach und petit voer waren nicht sehr schön. Scones waren trocken, aber der Marmelade war lecker und zusätzlicher Marmelade und Creme wurde auf Anfrage zur Verfügung gestellt! Eine okay, die Wahl für hohen Tee, wurde aber ein wenig enttäuscht.
