Bread, cookies, cakes: all delicious. This is the best bakery for dessert items we've encountered in a month driving through many many villages in the Luberon. It's on a side street in Menerbes, and it's easy to miss. But it's worth looking for!
Une boulangerie de village comme on les aime. On y trouve pains, snacks et douceurs, mais également des produits d'épicerie pour dépanner. La famille qui tient cette boulangerie est accueillante et agréable, avec un grand sens du service.
This is the village's oldest bakery. It's odd really because by French standards their bread isn't very good. They're pleasant enough but nothing compared the the baker that used to be a the neighbouring Lumieres village
This is the famous bakery from Peter Mayle's books. Thefamily are iconic residents of Ménerbes and it is always a pleasure to go there andavour their fresh baguettes.
