Set menu with a choice of two or three course menu + dessert. Great choice of wines and spirits as well as a wonderful assortment of tea.The service is wonderful and staff made a great effort to translate everything into English for us. A lot of thought has been put into little details that make the experience out of the ordinary such as a "postcard course" (curious as to what it is? go find out ;)Would recommend this experience thoroughly.
Stayed at the hotel / guest house for four nights and only discovered the talents of the owners (a Chef) on the last night. Daniel makes his own cured meats, locally caught venison, and uses extensive local produce in his cooking. We had a dinner for five which was a mini-degustation menu, with lots of little extras and surprises. The warmth and friendliness of the venue mixed with innovative and exciting food were a real treat.
Although they were not actually open - we were staying for a wedding and had the dinner somewhere else- we were hungry abd they created a lunch which was absolutely deliciuos! Thanks. Breakfast is very tasty with a variety to suit all gustos. The People from the Restaurant and Hotel are always very friendly and attentive for your needs.
Having lunch on the terrace is quite an experience on a sunny day, gorgeous view, good selection of food. Dinner in the restaurant beats that experience, especially the selection of meat right done on a lava stone in front of the guest is an experience you should not miss. Portions are generous, quality is indisputable.
