All about a great place, found by chance. Love the constantly evolving selection of gourmet goodies, wine, gifts and deli. And the brownies are so good. People who work there are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. A kind of wonder in this suburban MD/DC-Hals of forests! Don't change.
I used to get lunch, pastry and wine from this wonderful establishment back in the 70's. I ventured Arlington Blvd to check out my old work area. There it was. They still have great sandwiches, salads, pastry, wine, snacks, etc. The sandwiches were and STILL are fantastic!!!!
My favorite food counter for over 30 years. Fresh bread and ingredients. Fun and various things on the shelf. I stop every time I'm in Bethesda. Can't beat the chicken salad with peas. Always my darling.
A veritable Bethesda Institution and.landmark. Browse the cool hardware at Strosniders and come here for lunch and some treats. Great selection of microbrows and decent wines.
