We were not waiting for the ferry but had few time because oh an appointment in Saint Estephe. The restaurant is not very attractive from the outside and compared to its neigbourghs. It could deserve a better look. Today, it looks cheap. But we selected...it because there were less people than in the other ones and we were in a hurry. Good choice. The service is very friendly, the waitress found us a table with a great and warm smile. The menus are very affordable. We selected the one at A glass of Bordeaux, a main course, a dessert and a coffee. I took the chicken kebab and my wife fish. Very generous portions and good food. Fresh and tasty. Wine was OK . Obviously, not the same experience at all compared to one of the reviews. Nothing to blame. A matter of fact. So, a nice place, very affordable for a quick lunch or diner. We have also seen one of the waitress preparing what seem to be great cocktails. Customers around us approved and told us that this place is famous for its cocktails. As we had to drive, we did not try the cocktails.
On the evening of August 15th, there are crowds on the port. All the restaurants are complete. Our 5 table was nevertheless welcomed as well as 2 other tables. as often in these moments of high affluence, special card to avoid waiting. The service was enthusiastic and we pleaded with the waitress. There were no more mussels left, we directed our choice on the bavette (13.50) and the whole magret (16E) with a large number of homemade fries and salad with red onions and tomato. They've made more than 170 covers tonight. it's normal that there's break-ups at some point.
a great restaurant with a great welcome, very low prices that would even deserve to be increased because the quality of the products that are fresh and homemade are delicious, I highly recommend. and I'm a little outraged by the bad comments, the people add up and we have to put ourselves in place of the catering team that sometimes has to do to the unexpected and to many people so fatigue etc. brief I recommend it's super
We ate very well! the menu at 13 euros is very well and the menu with fried mussels has delighted our son. the reception is friendly. Nothing to say. a recommendation.
