It is very good. I had pulled pork sandwich with slaw and jalapeño corn. My husband had brisket, sausage, potato salad. I loved the pork and the corn was outstanding. I didn't love the slaw. My husband liked the meats but wasn't a fan of the potato salad. The potatoes needed to cook a bit longer. I tasted of the brisket and to me it was too fatty, it needed to render longer. But he loves the fat. I know meat is expensive right now but our meal was crazy expensive.
I've only seen this place from the side of the street and wasn't thrown in for quick food to get something bbq! And damn it, that's good bbq! They kill it. I had pulled the McCoy w pork and it was as good as I had not eaten in days haha and the potato salad on the side was delish! Absolutely come back! You should also come to Yelp! So people can find everyone if they are looking for good food here in Nacogdoches! Great job that bbq was bomb!
It was a tradition to eat in Barbecue House when we come to Nac. Today we have tried Brendyns and I think we have found a new tradition! The meat was so delicate and full of taste! The bungalow was fresh and nicely held together. The peach coke was a sweet treat! I highly recommend finding this food truck on your weekend!
Maybe the best BBQ. Everything is made to eat with an obvious love. The price is fair for quality. Service was excellent. Go there early, currently they open at 1100 because they sell out! Especially if you have their incredible Jalapeño Poppers
