Nice place friendly that is until you ask for tap water. On holiday been in every night after the end of the ski day. After some food and a couple of drinks, young kids finished ski lesson and asked for tap water. Provided with a...tiny glass, when asked for a second refused. Reply, "my manager will not provide a second, you must buy mineral water If you want good customer service, try some where else, there is plenty of choice and you are captive to the end of the day Skiing.

Went to this place as it is conveniently located at the end of a nice walk. While the building’s atmosphere is excellent, the service was rather poor got wrong food and it wasn’t appropriately fixed after complaining. The neighbor table’s bill was wrong, our...Coke was flat. The Kaiserschmarren was SO sweet that after the fifth fork full I had enough. Next time, would rather go somewhere else, to a more traditional Gasthaus.

But as soon as we sat down at a table, the waitress became incredibly rude and obnoxious toward us. The food was not especially good, and the service was below what would be expected anywhere that is hoping to generate revenue from tourism. If someone...opened another bar at the foot of the slopes, this one would be empty.

This Alm station Hütte offers a magnificent view of the Zugspitze and great cakes and strudel. It is also the trailhead for a number of Wanderweges that criss-cross the Zugspitze Arena mountains. Whether it be a short one hour hike or a more demanding day...long journey, it is a terrific place to begin or end a day.

My family and I ate here on Sunday. At there was live Austrian music. We had a range of local dishes, and the waitress was wonderfully helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere and very friendly.
