Brisket Root Flavor

I love this place. It's a food truck/trailer in the parking lot of the BP gas station at the corner of University and Lexington St. I've had the brisket and chicken tacos, brisket sandwich, and fries, yuca, and plantains. Everything tastes fresh. Excellent contrast of flavors and textures in the tacos. Salsas are bright and don't cover the deep flavors of the meat. Fried to order sides are awesome. They don't always have yuca but when they do it's a good day for me.

I come here at least once a month. It's a special treat. They recently cut their hours close at 5pm) which means it's no longer feasible for me to get dinner food here, which is very sad. Also closed Sundays. It's very affordable so you can get a lot of items to try. Must try: brisket taco pupusa load it up with the cabbage slaw then eat it like a taco) yucca fries comes with punchy Chipotle Mayo dipping sauce) plantains

Unassuming food truck in parking lot of BP gas station with excellent tacos. Fish, chicken and carnitas were delicious and fries were perfectly seasoned. Service is friendly. We can't wait to go back and try more of their food.
