I should have taken the hint when I saw couples getting up and leaving before being able to place an order. Came here for lunch with my wife. Drinks didn 't come until after the meal was served. Same with the starter salad. My wife had the Fitness Teller, a meal where one get a piece of meat with a large salad. 1st big found in the salad...ok mistakes happen. 2nd...start to drown, 3rd...that really should be! I guess they didn 't wash their salad. I had the ribs, they were sitting for a long time by the way of the texture and a very chewy taste. When I found the 4th bug in my salad drowned in the sauce, I started to think too much at the uncleanliness of the kitchen and started to loose my appetite. Wasn 't asked about my meal until after I paid, I said it wasn 't great and the server just said ok and ran off. Maybe stop here for a drink but not more, I would recommend going around the corner to the Swiss steak house. Better food and service for the same price.
The burger is served raw on a hot stone. You can grill it to your taste. The spare ribs were really poor quality. You had to put in a lot of effort to eat the meat. When they are done the right way the meat falls of the bone. Don’t waste your money on the ones in this pub. The side dishes are not included in the price and the waiters are still using paper receipts for every single order like it’s 1969.
Ate dinner at the restaurant on a Sunday evening. The rest of the little town was basically closed besides a couple of restaurants. Good service and food tasty. Would definitely recommend the burger, 100% beef patty comes served on a hot rock. No service fees on the tables as the case is in Italy. Staff welcoming, friendly and speak English.
Ich weiß, es ist Schweiz, aber hey, 11 Francs bekommt Sie eine Kase Baguette ja, das ist eine Käserolle und eine Schüssel mit Fritten 9 und auf sie geht. Bier- und Weinpreise sind akzeptabel, wenn Sie gerne Hauswein trinken
