British Raj - Tisch reservieren

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Adelaide when it comes to food, customer service and overall value for money. The fact that cricket players from India choose to eat here when they play in Adelaide surely proves the authenticity of the food. My friends, family and I will always consider coming here when we want to celebrate special occasions with a lovely meal. The venue is cosy, the flavours are authentic, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Unlike many other restaurants, the British Raj does not sting customers with a surcharge for BYO cake. This may be a small touch but it is highly appreciated in the current times when the rising cost of living forces people to cut back on luxuries like dining out. Knowing we will not be gouged by greedy merchants is one of the reasons we keep coming back. We came here most recently for the Festival of Food and a friend's birthday at the same time. As it was a busy Friday night, the staff lacked promptness and our table waited an hour before receiving drinks and bread to start. Luckily the speed of service picked up after this and we were able to tuck into generous portions of delicious entrees and mains. Top marks from our table to the tandoori chicken, prawn masala and butter chicken.We will definitely be back!

We booked to celebrate two family birthdays, and all went smoothly in the cosy room at the back of the restaurant. Two of our party had eaten here before and particularly recommended the beef dishes for tenderness. As we had a couple of vegetarians around the table, plus devotees of tandoor dishes, we ordered a wide range of foods for entrees and mains. In a very rare display of consummate hospitality, our entrees were served, and only when everything was cleared away, the waitress checked when we were ready to receive our main meals. Such a pleasure to not be rushed, and to be served food in such a considerate manner. Entrees were delicious, and were good size servings. Similarly, our mains were wonderful and much more plentiful than I've seen at other Indian restaurants. Flavours tended to be complex yet subtle, the spicy dishes hit the spot without being overpowering. These curries didn't set out to assault the taste buds, but rather to seduce. In summary, a lovely dining experience where we were surprised by the value (and the delicious leftovers we took home) and the understated quality of the establishment. Take away meals represent excellent value as well!

Visited The British Raj in part of the festival of food, and it took our breath away.We are both Indian food lovers and our meals were so full of flavour, it felt like we were in India. The meals were a great size, even took some home and it was definitely value for money.The service was great, the place is cute and cosy, and even though we live an hour away, we will be back for more.

Having provided the. chef with 24 hours notice of Our arrival we were greeted with the most amazing food experience. The authenticity ofFlavours was exceptional and the dish selection was truly inspiring. There's incredible and deep. Passion on show here at British Raj and I cannot recommend theses Guys any higher. An absolute must eat restaurant whilst in Adelaide

Amazing service, best butter chicken! Always delicious food. Good range of curries with fresh ingredients.
