OVERALL VERY DISAPOINTING VISIT TO BROWN'S FISH CHIPS DUE TO THE FOLLOWING NO HEALTH SAFTEY PRACTICE AT THE SHOP FOR EXAMPLE ALL GIRLS WORKING THERE HAVE VERY LONG HAIR NOT TIED UP OR IN A NET! AND LATER TO FIND HAIR IN MY CHIPS (NOT VERY APPERTICING)ALSO GIRLS ALL WEARING FALSE NAILS WHICH AGAIN WOULDNT BE VERY PLESANT FINDING ONE OF THOSE IN YOUR FOOD ETC ETC, THEN ONTO THE FOOD, IT'S NOT AT ALL VALUE FOR MONEY AS THE CHIPS WERE NOT COOKED PROPERLY AND GENERALLY TOO GREASY AND THERE ISNT A SIZE DIFFERENCE CONSIDERING THERE'S A PRICE DIFFERENCE FOR small AND large! would not recommend this establishment at all to anyone.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think the fish and the chips were microwaved. There couldn't be any frying going on because the interior on the other side had curtains closed because there were alterations being carried out and the frier was not being used, I could see this through the other door.

What a little gem. The staff are fabulous. The lady on the till was super friendly. She went above and beyond finding out what was vegan and what was not. The chips were absolutely beautiful. We ended up going twice on our holiday and taking chips back to our tent. Highly recommend the place. Vegan options.

A very weird set-up that feels like it's left over from covid times but staff were lovely and helpful. The fish and chips were OK: not the best but definitely not the worst I've had. Mushy peas were a but dry and the Pukka pie was OK too. Overall, it filled a hungry hole but I wouldn't rave about it.

Lovely take-away fish and chips! Very tasty and nicely cooked. Great for a quick, inexpensive but filling meal. The restaurant area is no longer open so it’s takeaway only now.
