The 14th. In November 2012, Bruxie opened its 4th location in Chino Hills, CA. It all started in 1999 when Dean Simon traveled to Belgium. He was fascinated with the local peasant markets and street vendors, especially homemade waffles ready to order. In 2006, Brux Waffles was born after the development of a wafer recipe that recalls this Brussels street Essen. Brux Waffles could be found in hotels around America and even on cruise ships. In 2009, chef Kelly Mullarney was hired and ideas to make waffles a “all-day” offer, the combination of sweet and hearty combinations became the mission. The waffles were made thinner and folded for portability. Bruxie was born! It started orange and opened three locations in Brea, Rancho Santa Margarita and now, Chino Hills. The location chosen by The Shoppes at Chino Hills is optimal. To the main road from the highway, it is difficult to miss. At night, the Bruxie subscribing shines and immediately catches your curiosity. The restaurant area is very open and colourful. Menu boards are suspended high above so you can read them if you are near or back a bit in the line. The Bruxie team is very friendly, attentive and very excited to be part of the Grand Opening.
