This was my third time visting a Buffalo Grill restaurant. The first 2 visits I was happy, even with the amount of English from the waiters side. At this restaurant, I asked for the English menu in French, which is the end of my knowledge. I ordered my starter, which went well. Then I ordered the prime rib, medium rare. After like 15 minutes, the waiter brought me a plate of pork ribs. I told him that it was not what I ordered and he made sure he wrote down the good thing. Then after 15 minutes I received a prime rib, which was well done. Then I explained another waiter that it was wrong again, and suddenly they were able to speak English. In the end I got my prime rib, medium rare and a free beer for the inconvenience. In the end I ordered some side dishes, Ratatouille and French Fries. What could go wrong with that? Well, the French fries were too dark.
Now this is a typical chain as you see around France. I have eaten in several and to be honest this will probably be the last. The place was very quiet which is not a good sign. The service was ok, but the food is of poor quality and over-priced. I had ‘roast’ chicken which appeared to lack any colour, taste or actually much meat. It was very fatty and appeared to have been microwaved. There is no care here and no one at all concerned whether we had a good meal or not. Sorry Buffalo Grill, I won’t be back.
From outside it looks closed, nearly no light visible. Inside it is a dark red leather and brown wood style, which was maybe in the 1980s fashionable. A waitress guided me to a table, there were maybe three other tables full of guests, so extremely low time. I sat there for 15 minutes and the waitress never returned, so I remembered about the reviews of long waiting for food. And if you wait that long for just to order, how long will it take to get your stuff? I left and I think that was the best solution.
Slow service as in other Buffalo Grill restaurants I have been. The grill is good and meat is nice. Choosing one formule menu you can have cheap dinner (or lunch) with a limited selection of dishes (not the best they have on the a-la-carte menu list)
