#aperfectday in the Foodie Heaven of Lyon. Amazing 7 course meal #burgundybymatthieu The service was wonderful as were the suggested wine pairings. Everything from the amuse bouche that tasted like chilled smoked Gruyère cream in a crisp pastry shell to the Banana Spiced Caramel Sauce Dessert that they served along side creamy chocolate apple macaroons and a perfect~crispy~ buttery layered dessert Brioche were delicieux They even called a taxi to take us back to the #VikingCruises Hemdail. Merci Burgundy for a great evening
Spectacular meal. My partner and I visited Burgundy as it was recommended by some of our friends and I am so glad they did it! This was one of the best meals I had in a long time. Every single bowl was pretty good (the potato bread and the soup were just amazing). The service was also very nice and they were able to accommodate my diet writings that were somehow. Would definitely recommend Burgundy when you visit Lyon and wish an amazing gastronomic experience.
It's just a matter of time before Matthieu gets her Michelin star. When someone visiting Michelin Star restaurants all over the world, this place is a real jewel. Exceptional kitchen, humble cook (he was friendly enough to come by and say hello to everyone), and excellent service from the staff. You can't ask for more.
A really remarkable meal. Perfection from beginning to end. Creatively presented survey of some of the best gastronomy Lyon has to offer. Service was also friendly, professional, knowledgeable... exceptional. Very recommended!
