Burrini's Old World Market

I'll never walk into this place again. It took 15 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and one order of the frits. Paint dries faster. When I left, I asked for a bag and the guy behind the counter put the stuff in a box. When I walked out of the door an old woman I can only accept is the owner who started screaming me out of the store because she had no reusable bag. It was embarrassing, rude and not professional.

I really wanted to like this place because it's so close. I've tried it a couple of times and the latest experience was the worst. Got the order wrong no big deal, but this is what they apparently call breaded chicken cutlet. On top of that the bread was pretty stale. Not sure why some people rave about this place. To each their own I guess.

It has a good reputation because the food is good, but if you order an Italian sandwich, there is not a whole lot of meat on it when I pay over $10 for a sandwich and a soda, I want a fleshy sandwich, especially since I get my bottoms without tomatoes or onions

Very convenient, very pleasant staff. Always crazy busy, but I've had better foods. A local. Legend. I've been going all my life and they still have best meat, seafood, and basically everything else
