Burros-n-churros

Wow! For a small town restaurant, Burros Churros serves food that can easily compete with some of the best Mexican food I 've had in LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Tucson and the entire state of Texas! We ordered several platters of their Classic Tacos, Street Tacos and Gourmet tacos along with their enchiladas, rice, beans and homemade salsa 's and guacamole, all of which were delicious, tasty, and autentico . Shredded tri-tip enchiladas and tacos? Yes please! Of course their churros and dipping sauces, chocolate, caramel, and apple caramel puree, were excellent also. We had enough leftovers that made for a tasty Mexican breakfast with scrambled eggs the next day. There is more than Mexican food on their menu, all of which I 'm sure is excellent as well. Burros Churros is also close to Lake Almanor where we stayed at, just 15 mins away. Have to also mention the owners and staff define the words gracious and friendly . Highly recommend Burros Churros!

I love this place. Such a cute place and super clean. The waitress and owners went above and beyond to make our first time there amazing. We will definitely be going back. The food was so good. I love me some churros and I’m picky and they were so stinkin good.I got to witness the owner pure genuine thoughtfulness and caring for others. It was very humbling to see. She is a gem in this world for sure. That I can tell. That alone would make me go back to this place. But their food is definitely the best around.

I wholeheartedly recommend. Great service, honestly the best meal I've had in months. I live on the coast and I can say my food was better than what I could get easily in downtown Seattle, Portland or San Francisco. I've never had anything close to this good in LA but I've only been there three times. Usually I don't find good food anywhere away from population centers. I felt welcomed and it felt good to be there. All my needs were met, this place is great.

Excellent! No matter how far the drive; it's well worth it. We had the Friday night Shrimp Taco Special. They were the best Shrimp Tacos we have ever had, anywhere. The owners check in at your table to see if everything is okay, and they are sincere, not just asking as they buzz by your table. Go here, you won't regret it Sandy and Bob Chico, Ca

I LOVE this restaurant! The staff are great and the owners are just delightful! We have been back many times and have never had a bad experience
