By The Way Bakery

Recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and baked goods are my Achilles heal so I was ready to try By the Way Bakery! On a day sick at home, I ordered a few things through GrubHub to get a feeling for the place, and you truly don't remember or care thatwhat you're eating is gluten free. Taste and texture are completely on point not too sweet, not gritty, not crumbly. Triedsome of the following: creme puff (though I think the custard had been absorbed by the time it got to me, unless that's thestyle of it, but so soft and wonderful , little almond spiral, almond cookie (it's almost like a pignoli cookie without thepignoli nuts nothing not to like , and chocolate brownie (everything you want in a fudgey bakery brownie! . Why only 4 starsthen? The biscotti. Something I've really been missing since going GF. Was hoping with the great general reviews and the costthat they would also be just as good as a great bakery gluten biscotti... Texture wasn't gritty, but it had nothing else goingfor it. Almost offensively plain and dense to this Italian, as if someone who doesn't know about or like biscotti was taskedwith making them to check a box on the menu offerings. Super disappointed. My quest for GF biscotti continues! BUT everythingelse was fantastic and I will absolutely be returning to try a cake for a special occasion. TL;DR wonderfully delicious bakedgoods and not just by gluten free standards, but stay away from the biscotti.

I am 100% a picky dessert eater and home baker. If I can make a better version myself, then I don?t want to buy it. When I discovered my gluten sensitivity, I still ate my desserts and just suffered through the stomach aches because I couldn?t find(or make) decent enough GF desserts. Then I discovered BTW Bakery and OMG the cake and cupcakes rival any gluten filled cakeI?ve had at super famous bakeries in NYC! If you didn?t already know that these were GF and dairy free, I don?t think you?d beable to tell. The brownie cookies are also very good- fudgey and chocolatey in all the best ways. My stomach thanks you!

My girlfriend has a Gluten allergy and it's very hard to find places that specialize in that niche, especially bakeries. Well, the search is over. I purchased a Triple Chocolate cake for her birthday from By the Way Bakery and was completely blown away.It was the most amazing cake we had ever eaten. Couldn't tell the difference. Will definitely be going here for all baked goodsin the future.

Simply so delicious!!! The cake is flavorful, moist and you would never know it?s gluten-free and dairy free. I have 2 celiac kids and they can eat here knowing that they are safe. Our whole family loves the cakes. We?ve tried the chocolate raspberryand vanilla as well as the cupcakes and Whoopi pies. So so so good! I?ll never go to a ?regular ? bakery again!

this is a large bakery for gluten-free and eating tastes like it has normal flour.
