Met up with a few girlfriends for a ladies night out a few weeks back. The evening was going okay other than the waitress decided that we were taking too long to order even though the place was relatively empty. Ordered a bellini from the happy hour menu, and added the disclaimer that it had to gluten free. Waitress came back and told me that the champagne in the bellini had gluten in it - Surprised! I ordered the marguertia from the happy order menu. Got the bill and was asked to pay the full price for drinks as she had placed the orders for the non-happy hour drinks. I told her that I had ordered the happy hour drinks. She said that I must have misunderstood along with all the ladies, and as I had drank them I had to pay for them. So, warning, make sure that you write down and make an agreement of the drinks you order during happy hour. Or just go elsewhere....
Only place where I can probably order a Rob Fennie Barbecue Duck Clubhouse and a Fish Taco. These are truly my favourite dishes at the Cactus Club. The fries are also crunchy and delicious. So whether you are in Vancouver or Burnaby the dishes are the same but just as delicious. Even though it is a bigt pricey, feel free to share your dish or take the extras home for your second meal.
This restaurant is always busy. Get there early or seating is limited. Their menu is extensive and if you're into cocktails they have a huge selection. One of my all time favorites is the Rocket Salad. Tender chicken with mountains of arugula and tomatoes. Mouth is watering again. Staff are terrific
Went with family on my way to airport back to Saudi Arabia I love this resturant. Recommend calimary, mini burgers, and steaks. I love the atmosphere. Recommended for family or couples.
