I go to Nordstrom cafe pretty regularly because I love their salads. The food is not cheap but because of the whole experience it has always been worth it to me. Yesterday I went there to meet my friend for her birthday. When I arrived she had already arrived and was sat at a table waiting for me, so I got in line to order our food. I stood in line for about 15 minutes (even though there was only 3 people in front of me). The first person in line had their order taken and then the cashier told the next person that they had to wait 3 minutes to take their order because they were spacing orders for the kitchen. Fast forward to my turn I asked the cashier if she could just take my order so I could go sit with my friend (after 20 minutes) and she said they couldn 't do that. I said I didn 't mind waiting longer for my food, but again basically sorry this is how we do it . I asked for the Manager and an Assistant Manager came over who was even less helpful. I asked where the customer service was and she said sorry! which basically made me feel even less important. I am seriously disgusted with the customer service the only saving grace was Pablo who was amazing in making us feel important when I finally got seated to spend time with my friend! I won 't go there again I will go to the one downtown because they have a system that works! Nordstrom you need to change this system because you have lost a customer and my guess is I won 't be the last!!
