Our visit to this cafe spoiled our day. Rude servers in France are only funny in film, not real life, and our waitress was aggressive, rude, indifferent, and just awful. While anyone can have a bad day, we tried to lighten the situation and get things going better but she just became ruder and ruder. Also, as for the 100 beers, they did not have the one we asked for (local French beer on draft), were not happy when we asked for a card with the beer list, and ended up bringing us an indifferent German beer.
we are two friends of the way and we are delighted with this little café/resto on the big square. The staff is very friendly, attentive and the servers.se.s are concerned about the comfort of their customers. The frame is nice, not old, neither modern and cold; in the colours of a small bistro where it is good to come to discover a beer or a good expresso. the map is simple but everything is done home. Sitting in warm spring sunshine in front of the magnificent cathedral it's hard not to be happy. Cold beer, decent but frankly uninteresting food and good coffee. The position and the moment were superb. An enjoyable time which proves lunch is often about other things than what's on the plate.
Traveled in Sens during low season but this place was always opened. Served coffee and croissants in the morning, crowded with many locals. Also nice in the evening, outdoor-dining with a nice view of the cathedral.
