Cafe De Peney - Tisch reservieren

the cafe de peney is a well-known and established coutryside caffe in genfs opposite. it is important to have a differentiated menu, but with snails and frogs in the fish menu together with only 1 other fish dish does not make it; for most...people it just doesn't mean a choice. so guess we went for the fish! a lieu jaune . we appreciate the asian bamboo steam presentation, but it really looked like the fish and its surrounding vegetables would have any kind of sauce (asian soy based, olive oil, lemon or whatever;) it was only there, naked. Nevertheless, the fish was perfectly boiled and fresh in ordering experience. but we expect much more of this place! starter and gloomy were great. further on the bright side was the personal friendly and their wine list is well balanced and really expensive. cafe de peney is a beautiful place, but it has not yet found its mojo. go back, support them, they deserve our support!

I had dinner with a friend. She drove, so I cannot really say how off the main road it is. The staff is very helpfull, quick and knowledgeble. The food was tasty. We had asparagus for antree and goat meat for main course. I had...a glass of white wine, fruity as I like, my friend red wine, we both enjoyed them. The coffee was good too. We had no other desert :

love this place! among my favorites. eat big, inventive, but without being promising. easy access, but only great suggestions and taste. the service follows food quality. I am there regularly, but never disappointed, consistent and just good!

I was very lucky to be able to go back there. Delicious food, great, friendly, service. The filet de bœuf was juste right. A place to keep stored. A bit of a surprise the starter, indeed succulent but on the expensive side
