Cafe Du Port Ste Marine

Locally popular and rightly so. The welcome is genuine. The cooking is very good. The prices are fair. The view out on the harbor is delightful. Our main course was Saint Pierre, and it was prepared deftly. An appetizer of mini seafood egg rolls and a dessert of an updated version of tarte tatin were both fine, if not extraordinary. Lots of families here with children. Plenty of burgers coming out of the kitchen with a wire container of fried potatoes. There is a lovely patio when the weather gets a bit warmer. It is a place that encourages repeat business.

We had a delicious meal here. The meme offers a range of fish and also other meat options. There are 2 options for set menus 39E and 49E plus a la crate. The restaurant overlooks the port with lots of seating outside but if you want to guarantee this would recommend you book and request as it’s very popular with tourists and locals which is always a good sign in my book. I had the tuna carpaccio followed by monkfish and an amazing chocolate desert washed down with some chilled rose wine.

What a lovely atmosphere, great home cooked food and pleasant staff. Particularly nice to see the owners so involved and working along side the staff. Highly recommend, especially in the seating upstairs with views over the harbour.

This restaurant is situated alongside the seafront, devoid of traffic. The menu offers a good selection of local food. This was served promptly, and was very tasty and well presented. Highly recommended

Excellent food, excellent service. Very professional and friendly staff, we felt well looked after throughout our meal. Food was really good, the 3 of us enjoyed all of it! Perfect! We will be back!
