Café, Restaurant Du Port

we chose the caffe du port for their terrace and shares de perche. no problems with the reservation; the personal was friendly. unfortunately our culinary experience was very disappointing. we ordered two portions of filets de perche with small steamed kartoffels. the plates were cold, and the cloth potatoes were hardly warm. the fish fillets were overcooked, dry and chewing; as if they had been reheated. we informed the staff when they cleared our tellers. they were apologetic and spontaneously dared two of the four glasses we had. but that will not make us come back. we choose our restaurants carefully and love to discover new places; sometimes it's a winner and sometimes it's not.

my daughter (10 yo) had 45 chf and wanted to take me for a special meal. she had visited the restaurant and organized for me to meet her there. I asked for two bills because she resisted that I had the steak and she had no money for a meal for herself! when the bill came, the message simply said “all for 45 chf” (see picture.) just a nice gesture. by the way, the steak was delicious and this restaurant deserved a regular! thank you!

they cannot be removed from the underlying outside. this restaurant is a fabulous family-friendly search. the menu is not extensive, but the fish that is their specificity is very simple, but very tasty. the service is very friendly and accommodating. many thanks.

An excellent restaurant on the lake Geneva. Perch fillet with french fries was a very tasty dish and service was very good. Good ambience for a lunch sitting outside and see the boats go by on the lake. Good wine.

filet de perche au delzaley. amazing food quality. you even get a second plate. very charming, great dinner!
