A nice family owned, olden day bar and restaurant, it was a wonderful experience, not just because of the very affable manager cum gofer who offered suggestion, wifi password and chit chat. Many locals visit so this goes a long way to show that the food is good. My Schnitzel came in large, crisp, golden fried with creamy cheese, bacon and caramelised onions inside, perfect and totally worth it. with it was a nice creamy bowl of the potato salad how the Wieners like it... it was delicious, and perfect as an accopaniment... the place is on the shopping street, can be reached by trams, and a walk from the main metro station. Must visit if in those parts of the woods.
I have been here many times. There is a good reason why I don't bother coming much, really only as a last resort.The food is average, the prices correspondingly high. Certainly not value for money.The service? Very very slow. Incredibly slow and lax.A shame really, because the garden is lovely. There are far better places to go.
This restaurant is located in a non-tourist area of the city and is therefore frequented almost exclusively by locals. the menu offers dishes of Viennese and Austrian cuisine that are served by friendly and helpful staff. the dishes we tasted did not disappoint us and the prices are quite good. recommended.
Das Gasthaus "ZUM WILDEN MANN" ist sehr zu empfehlen!!! Ein sehr gutes Restaurant, sehr gemütlich, die Chefin und auch das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, die Speisen sind sehr gut und das Bier, vor allem das GEMISCHTE mit dunklem Grießkirchner und hellen Ottakringer, ist sehr zu empfehlen!!!
