Caffe Capri - Tisch reservieren

Stay here! When we went there for the first time, the food was good and we decided to go back. Bad idea. We ordered a starter for 2, a pizza for me), and a salmon dish for GF). Starter was OK. My pizza was not very dry at all, canned mushrooms etc.). GF's plate came 5 minutes after mine. The fish was spoiled. It was offered to exchange it, and selected seafood linguine. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. It was 4PM on Saturday, the place was almost empty so they had no excuse. After more than half an hour we lost patience and decided to go. I asked for the check for the two things we were serving. Then, magical, the Linguine appeared. We said we were leaving, we had it. I paid for the starter and the pizza in cash $40, as per menu), and we went to our car. They called the police and did not allow us to leave their parking lot, stood in the way to block the exit. The police came and listened to the history of each side. When I showed the officer my Google Timeline and proved that we were there for 1h30, he went to the restaurant, spoke to the owner, came back and said that it was for us, we could either pay for the linguins and take them away, but no obligation, we could also go. What we did. I wish I could give these rackets negative stars. And 5 to the police.

It's not a hidden gem, what a disaster! We're here and our waiter looked like he was sleeping, drank and ordered us forever. The menu had a price, but then when we got the bill, everything was $5 more. I brought it to the owners attention and he said that they didn't get a chance to change the menus and that everything had gone up. I understand, but we should have got a head when they run the menu. After raising this to him he asked me to leave a 5-star review online, I just laughed. Food was terrible, no taste and definitely not worth the price. $30 for a piece of chicken and some vegetables. I'm not back.

The sign in front of the place reads, ?fine Italian cuisine,? which is far from what we received. The food was mediocre but aside from that, the prices on the menu did not match the prices on our bill. Also, the waiter offered a kids menu and then charged us $11 for 3 chicken tenders and $7 for a handful of French fries. I called the manager over and he stated that those are the prices because they don?t have a kids menu. I wish they would figure out what they were actually serving and come up with one price list. Definitely more of a pizzeria vibe rather than a fancy Italian restaurant.

I've been coming to this restaurant since my daughter was three years old. My daughter is now eleven. She loves to come here for the amazing oven brick pizza and Pasta. Everybody should come and try their lunch special with their new home made focaccia bread. With $13.00 dollars you can have a gourmet lunch? besides the stuff goes above and beyond to please You, and Dominic *the owner* is the most friendly guy I've ever met. I Love the way he treats his customer. Overall Cafe Capri is our favorite Italian restaurant in East Rutherford.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We came in and we?re the only ones in the restaurant and our waiter really went the extra mile to make our experience special, food was great to. Please don?t let the negative reviews sway you. This place is a hidden gem, give them some business.
