Lovely restaurant in the village of Alp. Beautiful interior and great service. The food was really delicious and many dishes used local produce and there was a choice of regional dishes.My partner had the soup which could have fed 2 or more and was delicious. I had a cheese and tomato starter which was great. The steak was very good make sure they are clear how you want it cooked and the cod in garlic and tomato sauce was divine the cod was a fantastic piece thick and beautifully cooked. The wine was the best bottle we had on that particular holiday. Definitely recommend and a mile away from the awful tourist food to be fond in the larger towns.
The food was average, nothing remarkable, which you would expect for that price, 110€ the four of us and would not recommend a single dish, true that they were edible and some fine…but then the service was poor, dressed in something like pijamas, the mistress was complaining all the time about cancellations and how they should be charged…then our waitress was stubborn and would not put the cream apart from the berries… Boasting on their 31y history, they may have done things better in the 2000s. Not seeing us again any time soon…like centuries…
Restaurante Casa Patxi se localiza en el pueblo de Fontanals de Cerdanya Girona. Cabe destacar su carta ya que es un buen muestrario de la gastronomía de la región, y de los sabores tipicos y autoctonos de esa zona. El resto se encuentra en funcionamiento en un aantigua casona rustica decorada en piedra y madera, que ha sido remodelada y adaptada a las necesidades de un restaurante.
We enjoyed the local food with quality km0 ingredients. Trinxat (cabagge and potato is very good. The meat is outstanding, specially entrecot, is tender and delicious. The deserts are simple but tasty and homemade. The staff is very friendly, they love talking about pets : .
