Stop occasionally on Saturday afternoon for lunch. The service is consistently friendly and fast and food is above average and cheap. We like the French onion soup and 'flash roast ' brussel sprouts w/bacon crumbles as an appetizer. Both are excellent. We share her, very delicate, reuben sandwich served with fresh corned beef on roasted marble rye. The manager usually stops to see if everything's okay. Warm decor. Several dining rooms. Good for groups. Friendly and efficient service from Mike and Jason. The Red Sangria is extra good. Street parking or there is a block from the station.
My girlfriend and I come here quite often and are never disappointed. Today on Easter Sunday my girlfriend had Poached eggs with Hollandaise Sauce, Corned Beef and Potatoes. I had the Grilled Chicken BLT and Fries which were nice and crunchy. For the appetizer we both shared their Buffalo Wings with Mild Sauce. Everything was very delicious. Our waiter was very polite and made sure that we were alright. I recommend The Celtic Corner. Which is located in Hawthorne NJ.
This place is pretty good, and probably the best Irish place in the area (if not the only one). The corned beef, meatloaf, and shepherd's pie are all tasty, although nothing outstanding. Reasonably priced, too, especially for the times. The service was good and fast, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
