Found this hidden gem of a restaurant close to the airport . The menu has some excellent breakfast options of various stuffed parathas ( Indian bread stuffed with different vegetables like mashed potatoes or cauliflower or cheese ) and puri - aloo. One can also try some Indian fast food options like Chat Papri , Pav Bhaji , Chole Bhature etc which are quite interesting and nice. The prices of these dishes are quite reasonable so one can experiment and try something new and different without it costing a fortune.The usual Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian curries , naan breads and rice options are also available . I specially like their different Thali options , their Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken. I also liked that they made less spicy food on request for my friends when we dined there. Just hope they maintain their quality and prices so that it can remain my favourite place to dine in or get takeaway from !
Yummy yummy food great service friendly staff need and calin super. Took a chance and ordered Indian from Chahat instead of our regular place. Oh wow, what a fantastic meal. We ordered a large number of dishes and all were fresh and delicious and all had their own specific taste - not tasting all the same like some Indian restaurants. Delivery on a Saturday night was before the time we were advised and we got a couple of free items too! Serving sizes were generous and value for money. Thanks Chahat you are now our new Indian go to!
We called in at Chahat by accident. Small, basic restaurant, geared for take away. The first thing we noticed was the aroma - simply divine. The second thing we noticed was the clientele. The diners were all Indian. This always augers well when you see the resident expats frequenting "their" restaurant. The food was really, really good and inexpensive. While we were dining the take away queue once made it out the door!This restaurant is definitely worth the effort.
Found this hidden restaurant on the last day of our Adelaide trip. HALAL CHEAP QUANTITY QUALITY They have traditional foods too. i.e - THALI Make sure you are not in rush because they are very busy, It will take 15-20 minutes
