Booked ahead and glad we did so. Restaurant is quite large but busy on a warm May Wednesday.Beautiful surroundings, especially the restaurant. We arrived at 12.30 and the place was already over half full, mainly groups of four.Unfortunately, apart from being offered an apero then, later, a menu, nothing happened for over 40 mins when our order was finally taken. We had the Menu Terroir (32 euros) and a glass of wine (a little too close to room temperature). There was a two-course option for 24 euros.First course: mine, a prawn risotto was delicious; my wife's courgette and salmon cubes was a little bland.Main course: both had Supreme de Volaile which was pretty bland, albeit on a fancy base. Other choice was a Cabillaud dish. The desserts we had were both very intricate and delicious. probably the best part of the meal.Homemade bread was delicious.Whilst we were probably a little unlucky in the choice of main courses today, we could not unreservedly recommend this restaurant. The slow initial service - they did seem a little under-staffed - really grated. We weren't able to leave until just before 1500 hrs. A pity, but I have given a degree of 'benefit of the doubt' in the marking, which otherwise would have been 'Average' in many aspects. Our bill was 76 euros.
