Château De La Pioline, Gastronomique à Aix-en-provence

A truly memorable experience! The setting and ambience of the room had a truly royal atmosphere, and apparently is, in fact, a former residence of a King's wife from 3-400 years ago. Gold Leaf and plaster abound. The food is exquisite and inventive as well as fabulous. Each dish was potent in flavor and well-executed and thought out with sublime intention. We did the 3 course, but i feel as if we may have had 10 courses or more including all the extras in-between and after. The service was just as good, if not better. Not stuffy or pretentious, but quite hilarious and genuine, our Waiter and the Sommelier were just as much a part of the experience for me and my friends as the food. I never write reviews, but this was truly deserving!It was not an inexpensive meal, but was one of the few that was truly worth every penny. I would give more stars if i could! Bravo to Pierre and the entire staff!

Yum! Excellent and highly creative cooking. We went for the tasting menu (menu pi r) accompanied by the wines. The fish dishes really stood out. Great pairings with the wine. Attentive friendly service.

Excellent and creative food with very friendly staff. Great recommendations for wines matching the courses. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

pierre reboul meets the expectations. 6 curs menu was excellent, so were the wine pairs and the service.
