A bit of a mixed review today. The farm shop fabulous. Went for the tomato sausage which is beautiful. Visited the cafe full of hope for a lovely lunch. Sadly for me it wasn't. We were told it was pork roast lunch. I didn't fancy pork so ordered the lamb burger meal. At £13 it isnt cheap. Then the waitress told my daughter it was beef not pork which I would have ordered if I had been told earlier. It arrived and looked good. My lamb burger looked good too but the brioche bun had been toasted and was rock hard. It was too hard to enjoy. The burger was overcooked and not very tasty. I should have sent it back to be honest, but service was a bit erratic in all honesty. The 4 stars was for the farm shop, today it would have been just 2 stars for the cafe. Things need to improve to warrant the prices being charged here.
managed to get a table, have a sandwich and go through the shop in an hour! initially the service was a bit slow, but eating and the drinks came out quickly. they could treat my gluten-free request, the ham was delicious and the brot was even fresh! I loved the cloud-shaped noise attenuation on the deck. the shop had an amazing selection of meat and local fish and chicken, as well as a Christmas shop already!
this is an excellent farm. great looking products to excellent trips for quality. Meat and cheese counters offer an excellent selection of products. free parking, but can be easily occupied. has sold an excellent caffe to the shop with products. fast tea/coffee shower in front of the shop.
really well-stocked farm shop, large veggie selection on the Deli counter, beautiful cheese, loads of meat and fish, last the choice. seasonal Christmas business with many unique culinary gifts. pricey but beautiful
