first visit in this pub. I was so grateful to the staff today. I am diabetic and had a diabetic hypo and had to ask for help without hesitating, a coworker helped me by giving me a bottle of orange juice, she understood what I needed and did everything she needed to help me. she even checked me later to make sure that my sugar content appears. I will be grateful for their help forever. the whole experience was wonderful. the staff are all very friendly, all very smiling. we had a carvery that was so beautiful, not complaining at all! I will definitely recommend this place and I will return x
the table that the restaurant had reserved was from the carvery, but it was a very hot day, so I asked if we could sit somewhere else, it was no problem. 10/10 both netzen were available on the day (I often have a problem as I am vegetarian and in the past I have not been able to have my preferred choice). 10/10 main dish was delicious (me vegetable and lentil chilli, my friend hunter’s chicken). 10/10 dessert was delicious sicilian lemon muffin cheesecake. 10/10 employees (bar and waiting) were very pleasant. 10/10
we were warmly welcomed and our sitting showed. we ordered our foods and drinks from a very polite employee. our food was not served long after the order. eating was hot, tasty and plentiful. a nice environment, nice staff, clean place and a pleasant experience. thanks for the chestnut tree.
There were 14 of use and all chose the carvery. The waitress was really good and told us that they would replenish the carvery before we all went up. The food was good and the puddings were great, they also catered for me being coeliac. Overall really good night.
