eating at françois is changing countries and times. a 19th-century inn, a small room with beams, and a real fireplace with logs that burn. large farm tables and wooden benches, which act as a common table (here, you do not reserve a table but places). the boss looks cool, but the service is efficient and courteous. Even in the plate: traditional products style Norman peasant food, simple and good as one imagines that they were once. the paste is roughly chopped in the entrance; The salad of lens warm is accompanied by a slice of soot, very good and without taste of fat. in main dish, that grilled meats from the region, cooked as it is necessary (concession to modernity, because they were very cooked once) with unfatty homemade fries. Traditional desserts and good ones, but you can't eat them because you're already shaved. all with the cider of a small local producer, and a reasonable addition (55 euros to two). In short, it’s good and disappointing. one concern: it is always complete, because it is known as the white wolf in the region, and it is imperative to reserve. It is therefore an address not to be too much disclosed. Advice to bobo-snobino-ecolo-vegetarians: it is not an address for you because, between wood fire, soybean-free meat and gasoline to go to knees, the carbon balance is disastrous.
