Chez Hua

We like the idea of a buffet style food and advertised as Chinese and Mongolian. The waitress had no English and difficulty understanding my average French. On arrival we had to wait for the dishes to be put out but thought this would at least give us the best choice. The starters were ok with nothing exceptional and the prawn starter had a total of four prawns split in two for the whole dish on offer. The teppanyaki was the main saving grace as you could help yourself to large quantities of meat fish and vegetables as long as you could pile them onto the small plate. I managed so well that after giving to the chef for cooking, he had to find a plate big enough to put the food on. The main course samosas were good as were the ravioli, but the spring rolls numbered 4 only and looked as though they had been put out every day for the last week. In fairness they did taste better than they looked. Even though we were one of only two couples in the restaurant the food was not replaced when eaten and once gone that was it. The drinks were expensive and many of the dishes were excessively salty requiring you to drink more. Finally the desert choice was good with some different items including a fruit I did not recognise and some decent quality ice cream.

Dejeuner en famille. La devanture montre des photos de beaux buffets remplis et sympa: en réalité tout est vide il n y a rien. La serveuse essaye au maximum de nous enfumer , il y a des grillades mais c est fermé , il y a un buffet mais elle va nous apporter des plats. Pas de carte pour choisir. elle nous énumére des plats sans intérêt: au final un beauf aux oignons fade et mou, un legume chopsuey dégoulinant d huile, un porc aigre doux vieux de 3 mois cuit et recuit. La serveuse a fait beaucoupr d effort s, avec gentillesse mais c est peine perdu : concept mensonger , et nourriture infecte. Desolée nous ne reviendrons pas.

Beaucoup de restaurants chinois se sentent obligés de proposer des formules buffets à des prix attractifs. Le problème c'est que ça ne marche que si il y a du débit. Pas vraiment le cas dans ce restaurant donc le buffet est vraiment très très basique surtout pour les entrées. Grillades à peine meilleures.Seul point positif, l'accueil sympathique.Mais je conseille à ce restaurant de privilégier le menu à la carte qui avait l'air un tout petit peu plus appétissant.

Excellent Asian restaurant with a very elaborate menu and good dishes. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is calm. Attention, if you come for the buffet, it is not necessarily available (especially during this period of Covid).

juste pour vous dire que quand vous y allez diner en hiver il fait froid dans cette grande sallee- personnel très accueillant - nourriture très bonne mais un peu cher - la tasse de thé surtout !!
