Chez la Marie has maintained its interior charm; dining in a living room. Ambiance is not quite what it used to be, thou; those owners are long gone...On our Fri night, with 6-7 couples or families dining in the corners of the dining room, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Enter some club of a dozen 'loud' ladies in our midst, and we the diners started escaping... ...the peaceful ambiance gone...The 'Festival of Pasta' was very enjoyable and somewhat disappointing at the same time. The tortellini and the ricotta and spinach ravioli were excellent and exemplary. The fish ravioli was experimenting, but not special. And, to sink it all; the heavy rigatoni was way too 'al dente' for me, and pretty tasteless.Surprising, also, that the awkward rigatoni was the only difference between 'Trio of Pasta' and the Festival, not even shown on the pasta menu, while it showed many far more exciting flavors, not included... Promise? Probably, but some way to go, also on the service front...
