Chez Matty Et Matto

In a touristic place you can expect anything, but this restaurant is surprisingly good. The food is delicious (juicy guinea fowl) and the plate is made up like an art piece with lots of colours and healthy vegetables. The waiter was very busy, but stayed...very calm and friendly. We loved it and we laughed about the gooses in front of the terrace. It's maybe a bit more expensive, but we would recommend. So much better than the restaurant we went to today in Pont-Aven (see my other review).

My husband and I were walking around Pont Aven looking for a nice place for lunch. Decided to walk Dow a side street and there it was. The serve is incredible and this kitchen so small it is amazing what they deliver. It was a...Thursday, after Easter and the place was packed. We both chose the ‘Plat du Jour’ and food was excellent and plentiful. What a find. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are after fresh local produce and excellent service.

Great spot to catch unaware tourists. Went to go upstairs and tutted at by an unkempt waiter with racking cough. Sat at table looking at pretty uninspiring menu, no service, no waiter, no drinks. Left after minutes and glad we did. Went to Cafe...Noir. Great find.

As I was about ready for lunch most places were closing but not Chez Matty et Matto. I sat down mainly out of desperation but was most pleasantly surprised. This place was fabulous great food and service at a good price. I highly recommend...it in Pont Aven.

Simple and tasty food, A+ steaks and poultry. Nicest owner who is also art connoisseur. recommend
