"Buyer beware for their quiche. It was hands down the most disgusting egg product I've ever had. It was supposed to be a quiche Loraine but there was no onion or cheese taste and the bacon was chunks of fat with meat that tasted like kielbasa or Polish sausage. Their baked pastries tasted good but not enough to make up for an expensive quiche with sub par ingredients"

I don 't blame the customers who are rating this store 5 stars. They have no idea of the French culinary specialties or how the French serve and present the food and pastries. We came to try the food here and I can tell you that nothing was fresh. We ordered $120 worth of food and this is our experience.Upon entering the woman behind the counter did not smile to us or welcomed us warmly. It was a simple hello what do you need.We started ordering and after every item we order she says: is that all? As if she wanted us to be done and leave. We ordered 10 pastries in total and 8 drinks and we got a is that all? right after each order. Imagine that! The pastries were old. They were not fresh and definitely made that same day. The quiche wasn 't made that day and was stale. The 2 brioches we ordered were not heated up only after I personally went to them and asked to heat them up.I ordered a double espresso and I asked the man behind the counter to do it in a ceramic cup and not a paper cup. He looked at me with astonishment and said: are you going to give me the cup back? That was the most bizarre request ever unless people come to steal their cup I couldn 't wrap my head around this question. So I said: of course I will give you the cup back?Unbelievable!!Anyway, I will not bore you with the plastic utensils and the paper plates... they couldn 't even serve in glass plates and metal forks and knives.!!This is the French experience with an American twist... for the profit and none of the rest...I will not say more.

As one familiar with French cuisine I was quite shocked when I first got my order. The croissant was very stale, it clearly wasn’t freshly new and tasted nothing of the sweet delicate French croissant me and my family know and adore.First thing you notice when you walk in is you aren’t greeted in a welcoming way. A simple smile isn’t visible all throughout the process of making an order, not to mention while deciding what to order at every second you’re told, “are you done?”, “is that all?”. In the end when we were packing up and leaving, I left my cake at the table to go throw some things way, immediately the lady working there curtly said to me “ are you going to leave your trash there?” in a harsh sassy like manner, so I told her no and walked back as I was going to do earlier. Customers I walked pass as I was going looked at me and were astonished at her reaction and her comment, it was rude and even they acknowledged it.

The pastries, viennoiseries, quiches, and more are absolutely divine. I love the quality and selection of items, every time I come in!This review would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the curmudgeonly older man on site whom I presume to be the manager. The past 2-3 times I’ve been there, I have been shocked at how brash, impolite, and downright disrespectful he has been to the younger women on staff. He clearly has an attitude, which he shows off blatantly to the public like a performance. And no, that is not “typically French.” I hope he finds peace and joy in life, because he did not seem happy where he was.

Best croissants we had in a long time! I had the last one in a boulangerie in Cannes and the ones from Chez Pierre have nothing less then that! The croissants and pains au chocolat are huge and so good! Our kids and I have been welcomed in this beautiful shop by kind people and I suppose the owner gave to my littles a lollipop. They were really happy. Next time I want to try their quiche and baguettes ?. Hands down the best European breakfast I had in Michigan! We will come back soon!!
