Do not judge this little hole in the wall by being covered! This is, hands down, the best authentic Peruvian food in Orange County. Perhaps also the best Empanadas in Orange County! It is small and family owned, but the food is all sooo good, and the ingredients are fresh, which is very important with all delicious seafood. You can say that the owner is proud of his restaurant and you can taste it in the food. My favorite things are Empanadas, Rindsalat, and Chaufa. All this is best when washed out with a Golden Inca Cola! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, it is one of the places I bring new friends to surprise them with amazing food! If I can't come, I order this for the delivery of third-party providers, and the staff always ensures that it is well packed for the trip with sauces.
My husband and I came here on a Sunday night. This is really a hole in the wall. We ordered both fish items and were very happy with our decisions. The owner, Cesar was very patient in fulfilling our wishes. A unique item I ordered was the chicken aguadito soup -traditional cilantro-based, and where you can order without the chicken! It was very delicious; I think Squeezing lime or lemon will make it even better! The dessert Alfajores was melted in your mouth cookie-tasty!! The ambience is cozy! We'll definitely be back!
Back to Sunday dinner. The food was good and healthy. Enjoy a 2 liter Inka Cola and Papa a la huancaina, soup shrimps, lomo salado, seco de Cordero and alfahores. A little warm, but they have fans who move the air. The place for a Peruvian on Sunday night?? Dinner open until 9 a.m. Chupe de camarones hot and tasty. The Alfajores were fresh and delicious?. The staff was very attentive and friendly, like family as usual.??
I went hungry to the south when I saw this place. Well, Lomo Saltado said fine. Well, I gave this place a try. Restaurant is typical Latino owned. Lomo Saltado a bit too dry for my taste rice a bit dried and hard, but overall it was okay. Next time, after more juice or sauce, or whatever liquid spices it's cooked. Thank you.
