like everyone else we go to this restaurant by visiting Espelette. The kitchen is good, but the prices are very exaggerated given the plates "very empty". we took menus at 25€ and children's menus. The smile is forced and although they will defend themselves in response to this opinion the reception of the client is visibly a minimum obligation more than a vocation! to finish the child menu is at 13 € without entry, without drink with a fish served without even a small sauce and a part of basque cake (minimalist of course), this is also abused!
By visiting the espelette, we stopped a little by chance in this restaurant...and we did it!We took 2 formulas at 17€: entry moulds, meat and fish ( excellent dishes)! and chocolate cream. simple but very good meals: the products are fresh and well cooked. So, actually, some will complain about waiting... but where's the problem when you're on vacation? And it seems to me that the tourists were many... we all arrive at the same time then necessarily, a little waiting is normal! I recommend this restaurant that is not a tourist trap.
