Chinetoile Chez Hong

Having read the other reviews, I arrived at 19.45. It was obvious that I was the first person in as my entrance prompted various trays being put out in the buffet area although I couldn't see that from where I was sat. The centre cover on my table was lifted to reveal a sheet of grease proof paper. I was served with a drink and readied myself for a wait . I could hear some noises from the kitchen but there was no obvious cooking taking place.After about 20 minutes another couple came in and almost immediately started helping themselves to the buffet. I went over and did the same. I was expecting some explanation of how to operate the cooker or that the buffet was ready. I hadn't got much time so after fiddling with the buttons, I got the cooker to work but didn't use it. I presume you leave the paper in place and cook on top of that.The food itself was ok, not as hot as I would have liked and obviously not freshly cooked but that's buffets for you. 16 Euro 80 is not bad value but think I'd be inclined to try the competition before returning.
