The food was terrible, cheaply done, way too sweet and over fried/battered. The salt and pepper chicken was 80% batter 20% meat. Asked for a pint of Pepsi which was three huge cubes of ice and a CAN of Pepsi in a pint glass, asked for the ice to be taken out and the drink to be filled to a pint as only a half pint was left AND THEY CHARGED US TWICE!! €10 for two cans of Pepsi. The ribs were just fat, no meat on them so they weren’t eaten and after telling us they are from the supermarket we asked for them to be taken off the bill. They never came to check whether we were happy with the food we had to ask for attention to bag up the rest to take away. They then packed the food at the table with attitude as if it was a huge inconvenience. Then left us sat waiting until I asked for the bill again. After complaining about the ribs they were still on the bill. Three members of staff started shouting at each other in front of us in Chinese then shouting we had to pay for everything. When we insisted we weren’t happy being charged for two lots of drinks and the ribs they got a Spanish customer to come over and snatched the bill and started shouting at us saying this was the price and they would call the police if we didn’t pay. Absolutely horrendous DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DIVE!!!! The place was empty the whole time and clearly this is why.
Thank God I didn’t listen to the bad reviews! After two nights of horrible dinners, I was determined to eat good food so I starting looking up restaurants and reading reviews. I was a little bit turned off because 1 there are a few bad reviews and 2 the reviews are really old I thought maybe they might have closed down. It was only a 10 minute walk from my hotel so I decided to check. SO GOOD!! — I’m from Toronto Canada and this food tasted just like the Chinese restaurants at home which is exactly what I was looking for. Fried spring rolls 11/10 Fried chicken wings 10/10 Fried rice with chicken and vegetables 10/10 Noodles with chicken and vegetables 8/10 Sizzling beef with black pepper 9/10 The service was also good it was a women serving us and she was polite and spoke enough English to answer any questions we had. The prices were amazing too nothing I ordered was more than 7 euros. The total of our whole dinner was 38 euros which is less than the both of the horrible dinners I had the previous nights!
8.50 meal deal which is 3 dishes Total bill 20 euro including pepsi for two Veg spring rolls crispy, slightly over fried Chinese salad lovely dressing Veg noodles good portion and flavoursome Chips crispy and amazing Spicy chicken not too much and tasty Curry chicken curry sauce a little bland Overall amazing lunch with a great value for money deal
Visited with children. We all selected a meal deal for 1 which consisted of a starter, main and soft drink or lager or wine. Food was tasty, service good and we enjoyed it so much we visited twice. Worth a visit....
