Chouette Café - Tisch reservieren

Reading the reviews we thought this was going to be just our kind of place. In many respects it was. The welcome could not have been warmer and the attention to detail such ad changing our wine glasses when we chose to drink red wine was impressive. The owners are very sweet people who want you to enjoy your experience. However, despite the fact there were only 2 other tables eating, the service was SO slow I felt drained and the food was actually not nice enough to put ourselves through it again. Lunchtime menus offered were 13 euros 50 including a glass of wine and coffee and 15 euros for 3 courses without the extras. Both very reasonable options and because we fancied the beef in ginger offered on the 15 we went for that. It was tough ad old boots without the slightest hint of ginger and the sausage provencal contained one skinny sausage. We chose the cheapest bottle of red for a very fair price of 9 euros 50 and it was very palatable indeed. The 15 euro menu also offered a farandole if deserts which usually means a selection of mini deserts but in this case meant instead of two boules of ice cream you had one boule with a slice of cake. Like I said, disappointing. I feel a bit guilty only giving 3 stars because they were such a lovely couple. It might be worth a try as we may have picked a bad day. I haven't got the energy to sit through that again though and will not be returning.

Bonjour à vous , Une très bonne découverte repas très familial cela va du menu à 9,50 , 11,50 13,50 et 15 € Ont ce croirait à la maison et nous somme dans une maison de particulier !!! vraiment , jai pris le menu à 13,50 : entrée plat dessert café et u1 verre de vin ( rouge , rose ou blanc ) et mon ami à 111,50€ plats dessert café assiettes bien copieuses pour les plats principaux . Mon entrée tarte aux poireaux fait maison top . Pour lui aiguillettes de poulet fondu de poireaux pour moi bœuf avec ses légumes et pâtes Dessert farandole : 1 boule de glace avec un gâteau chocolat et sa chantilly maison hummmm Pour le cadre : maison de particulier ont à mangé sur la terrasse couverte ou le jardin selon le temps . Cela fait vraiment drôle de ce retrouvé la très original la cuisine ses vraiment la cuisine de la maison , en plus ont arrive par leur salle à manger et nous voyons la cuisine à droite je vous dit Comme à la maison Les propriétaires très sympa VRAIMENT À DÉCOUVRIR Comme concept Bon appétit à vous

Nous avons fait une halte dans ce... Restaurant. Qui n'en est pas tout à fait non plus. Rigolo et surprenant. On est effectivement chez les personnes qui vous accueillent mais rien à voir avec une table d'hôte. Les plats étaient très bons et simples. Les produits très frais. Et le service très attentionné. Surpris par le nombre de vins à la carte en rapport aux menus très limités. Nous avons pris deux menus. Très bien les 2. Et pour un prix plus qu'intéressant. L'accueil est vraiment agréable et sympathique. Une surprise très "surprenante" mais sympathique.

Eenmaal u langs de voordeur bent, komt u in een zuiders paradijs. Het super vriendelijke ontvangst en het lekkere eten creëerden een fantastische sfeer. De kinderen konden zich tussen het eten door bezighouden in de knusse tuin tussen de vershillende speeltuigen. Deze avond was niet alleen geweldig maar ook spotgoedkoop voor hetgeen ons allemaal werd aangeboden. Zeker een aanrader!

Seek this place out, it's worth the trouble. Situated a little away from the town centre but a great find.A genuine warm welcome from your hosts, Christine and Gerrard followed by a meal to remember, for all the right reasons.Plenty of space for the kids who were actually welcome too.Its not too stuffy, it is casual, relaxed but professional.Many, many thanks, we'll be back.
