Cock Tavern - Tisch reservieren

I actually prefer hospitality staff to be rude and obnoxious because that's what I was like when I worked in a pub, so when we came to this pub and got treated with genuine politeness by the lovely people who work here I was rather taken aback for a while. I got used to it eventually though. They have a lovely garden and if the menu had a healthier vegan main course option such as risotto or even a curry (rather than just plant burger and fries) this place might actually be the perfect pub. Will return!

The Sunday Roast menu didn't seem to have anything labelled as suitable for vegans meaning some of our group couldn't eat, so we had Sunday lunch elsewhere. Nevertheless, the staff were lovely as was the pub itself and they had a nice selection of drinks. Would recommend.

Prices too high I paid £7.85 for a pint of guinness that is taking the pee,they need to look at their pricing structure In this recession. I would rather go there have 5 pints at a reasonable price than go there and only have the one at a astronomical price like that.

Friendly staff, decent cocktails and real ale on tap. Can't give 5 stars as both nights we visited they shut considerably earlier than the closing times listed on their website which was annoying.
