AUGUST 22, 2023 I was dining with my family at the table next to Erin and her children when they were asked to sit outside. Her kids were EXTREMELY well behaved and very cute. I saw the owner ask the waitress to ask Erin to move outside. The owner and his wife are cowards! What they did was despicable. It was cold and windy. The owner should have moved outside not asked paying customers to move. The waitress said she was embarrassed she had to ask her to move outside and apologized multiple times as she carried things to the deck. Erin handled the situation with class. To the owners- Money clearly does not buy you class. Go back to California we don't want you here.
I'm prompted to respond to a 1 Star review. My husband and I visit Ennis in the summer and often dine here. We were present the night a mom was asked to move with her children to an enclosed patio. A little one was screaming for quite awhile making our dinner disruptive and unpleasant. The family's transition seemed fine, dinners had not been served and we saw with more room on the patio kids were happy and playing. The evening was warm, not windy at all. We were pleased everyone was well taken care of and every guest could enjoy their dinners. We'll be back next summer!
We were on a Yellowstone fly fishing trip and stayed the week in Ennis. Saw the reviews on yelp and decided to give this place a try. We had a party of six, so we got to try a wide variety of dishes. The highlights were the wagyu Bavette, the duck and the ribs. Everything was well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Service was excellent and you can really tell how much pride the chef takes in his food. Wish we had it earlier in our trip so we had time for a second visit. The Sangria was a refreshing treat after a day of fishing as well. Looking forward to visiting again.
Clean pleasant atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented. Every bite was flavorful, the vegetables, polenta, catfish sauce all done very well.
