We booked for 8:00 for a dinner with my wife on the occasion of my birthday. the room is really pretty and the tables are well spaced. we had a table on the edge of a window with a view on the lake when the store is lifted. the staff was rather smiling but sometimes a little to the west and outdated. When we moved to the table, we were given the drinks card and nothing, no one else to order the aperitif. I had to make signs on several occasions so that a server can pick up the command. I've opted for the glass of theophile rorderer champagne. This one was very fresh and good, a pity that nothing is proposed with the cuts. we then ate the menu flavors that was correct but without great inventivity. for the cheese tray, not a great choice and several goats but a pity I don't like the goat no luck to me. otherwise I also found the small portions served and I asked the server to cut a second slice so the cut portion was ridiculous. I had a bottle of white wine from Burgundy by the waiter for the meal and his choice was quite good because the wine was very well married with the dishes. for coffee it took a little while to wait and I had to ask them several times. In conclusion, I find it a little pity to have such a beautiful setting with such an exceptional situation and not to enjoy it. professional staff and a little more attentive, a slightly more creative chef and we could make this place one of the most popular restaurants of gerardmer.

Evening dinner in love...Table on the roof terrace.Magnificent view on Lake Gerardmer. In addition, time was with us, which gave a plus to this place. The staff is welcoming, smiling and competent. impeccable service.Beautiful presentation. The swine squabbles come in... very copyy... and very good. The duck pins one in two... a little too cooked but, despite all, we ate well. The products are of quality and taste.Only flat but neither the restaurant nor the staff is responsible for it... It is only outside, they can ban people from smoking. And eating with a table next to where people smoke...not very pleasant.But, we are in a world of individualists ...where we only look at his pt nobody without paying attention if others are not disturbed.(by cigarette). Bravo to the team and good continuation to you.

terrifying service made by a young girl with black sweater, covered with cat hairs.Frozen and fadasty gambas, served with plastic salad. The dish goes back to the kitchen, less a gamba on the 3.... to hold my stomach I pass to cheese, not the time to eat it, the drh, comes squatter and smoke our clops.The waitress unpacks us without having been able to eat anything, coffee addition...80 euro for 1 apéro and a bottle of wine, gambas billed. At the time of departure, the hotel master, tells us that there are funny things in this establishment...we had not noticed..;bref I would not put back the feet.

We have dinner on the 1st night of our arrival at the beautiful hotel shore in this restaurant with a beautiful glasshouse above our heads that makes the impression of being in a boat. the menu was unique but the restoration was very good, finely prepared and the waitress folded in four to find another dessert than the one offered that didn't suit me. Very nice evening on the roof of the lake!
