We visited for gallettes and had them with a side salad and a plate of fries. The food wasn't bad but when the bill came the fries were listed as 6.50 euros!Fries as a side weren't on the menu but when I asked for some I never thought this would be seen as an opportunity to rip me off. I complained and said it is too much. I would have been happy to pay 2-3 euros no problem but they didn't even entertain this. Instead they insisted 6.50 is a good price for a small plate of fries.I paid, reluctantly, and left. I will not be going back. To lose repeat business for the sake of a couple of euros is not good business sense.
We took our 3 kids with us to this beautiful creperie which has loads of character, a tasteful nautical theme, superb sea views and a pleasant bar next door. It is located close to the beach and water sports centre. The savoury and sweet crepes were lovely and there was a good choice on the menu. The prices were all competitive too. The manager and team of staff were all professional, helpful and friendly.
Delighted to report we have beeb back to Audierne this July and have been to Creperie de la plage on two occasions already. The food is excellent. We have enjoyed the crepes.The menus "formula "are extremely good value.Also on offer are delicious seafood salads and steak frites. Very good cidre fermier at fair prices.Efficient service and the same magnificent sea views. We will keep coming back.
Eaten here many times, and no mater how busy (and it can be) the food and service are consistently of a high quality and standard. Quirky décor and wonderful view both add to the joy of eating there. Can't recommend highly enough.
