Nice to see that a creperie dares to offer an entrecôte. As carnivores we had to try that and were pleasantly surprised. Rated it as one of the better steaks we had in recent weeks. Cooked exactly as we'd asked for. My bleu was warm but bleu. The presentation was rather dull though with the standard small fries and one lettuce leaf. Clearly a chef who dares to think outside the box but than stops. It also felt that we had been charged too much for what we got. That is why he only gets 3 stars. Rather informal and laid back place, full of French clients in an area with lots of Brits isn't that a good sign? and a very friendly waitress who is also extremely efficient. OK, only 3 stars but we'd go back to see if the chef has become more adventurous and get better value for money..
Stopped off here on way to ferry for lunch. Large square for parking, large covered area to eat in the shade. Good comprehensive menu, salads, steak, crepe etc. we both choose crepe, me basic ham, egg and my partner forestiere. We asked for a simple side salad too though not on menu, was no problem for them. Staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. Would recommend.
Found this Creperie by chance and gave it a try, and were not disappointed at all. Nice menu selection in a family style setting. It's set up for the locals which was fine by us. Had lunch crepe of ham and cheese quite good, and a desert crepe of berries. Nothing fancy, just tasty food in an out of the way locale while en route to the Loire. ...
This is a really pleasant crêperie on the main square in Château du Loir. The menu is varied and the food is beautifully presented, fresh and very tasty! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Really recommend!
